Bio

I was born in Montreal, but grew up in Toronto. I attended the schools that are now part of the Viamonde school board. The class photo up top? That’s me at Ecole élémentaire Jeanne Lajoie. (I’m standing next to my grade three best friend Nathalie H.) I later attended Etienne Brûlé high school.

This French-language education in Toronto prepared me well for higher education at the University of Ottawa and Columbia University. After graduation, I worked for 15 years as a journalist and foreign correspondent in Paris.

Today, I’m the spokesperson for an Ontario government ministry. I remain very involved in the French-speaking community in the city.
